My daughter & husband met Vic last year at October’s MCM Comic-Con in London. My daughter Rhea was very nervous about meeting Vic, so her dad who introduced Rhea to Anime and Vic’s voice acting. Vic was so lovely and put Rhea at ease, Rhea & her dad(Gary) thoroughly enjoyed meeting Vic and having their photo taken with Vic.
Vic, you’ve been doing amazing work in your industry for God, and you haven’t been quiet about your relationship with Jesus. To the best of your ability, and in a way that reflects the true heart of the Father, you have used your platform to share His love with everyone you meet. The enemy of your soul is flipping mad about it, and he’s a liar and a thief. God is your shield and defense. You will not be put to shame. He will faithfully complete the good work He is STILL doing in you. You are HIS son, and the enemy (not people—but dark powers and principalities of this world) can never take that away from you. You still have many good and amazing things that are coming your way—things for you to give, participate in, and receive. It is my hope and my heart that I cross paths with you again someday. God is good. And He is doing good. I’m going through the wringer myself, right now, and it’s encouraging for me to encourage you. These things that I’m speaking to you? I speak them over myself as well. Be encouraged!! Take heart!! Jesus has overcome!! I speak life and joy over you, and inner healing to your very core.
One of the best analogies for God’s grace is one that I received from you—and I’ve shared it many times when the opportunity has presented itself—the illustration of God as a Father teaching his toddler how to walk—not upset, but encouraging and proud, excited for new steps and new growth. Thank you for sharing that analogy. Love you, brother!! ❤️ Brenda DV
I've been following Vic for over 15 years. He has been one of the kindest voice actors I have ever met. His love for his fans is only matched by their love for him.
Hey Vic I wanted to tell you, you are an amazing voice actor. I love your roles as Tamaki, Keldeo, and Vishnal. I hope to see you one day. Maybe at Colosselcon East in September if things work out.
I've never met Vic but have always wanted to and have been and always will be a huge fan and supporter of his in his journey.
My first time ever hearing about anime was my senior year of high school in 2017 and a friend of mine was drawing anime characters and I was fascinated by them so after I asked her about it I starting looking into it. I remember the first anime I ever watched was Vampire Knight and I loved the character Zero Kiryu and so I looked up who played him and saw it was Vic Mignogna and I went on to find more characters he had done. So I went on and on etc and started watching Fullmetal alchemist & Ouran host club and loved everything about the story and the characters that I wanted to meet Vic. But i was so new to it that all the cons he attended were all far away and no one in my family liked or wanted anything to do with Anime or Cons. So one day I'm at work looking up stuff on Vic and the Cons he would attend well I found out about all the problems he was having with the companies he worked for and all the allegation stuff and found alot of his cons were cancelled. So I was really upset but then I'd went on facebook and saw a link for a con in PA and it was stating that they were welcoming Vic to their con. I went crazy after I'd seen it and started planning to go cause it was close and affordable for me. Long story short I got to go to my very first con ever and got to meet my favorite voice actor and it was the best day of my life. When I got to meet him he was really a kind and understanding person cause you know first time meeting him i was all over the place but I got him to sign my drawing of Tamaki from Ouran and he even liked my Edward Elric I drew and he even drew his own interpretation of Ed and I was great I love how he interacts with his fans and I loved the whole experience.#IStandWithVic
My second New York Comic con in 2017. I heard the news that Vic was coming and at the time i was watching Rwby and i said to myself. "I need to dress up like Qrow, just for him. Once I got my cosplay and was ready, I went to his booth, he saw me and say "now thats what im talking about!" I went up to him, doing my best Qrow impression and he said: "Dude, you killed it." That made him happy and made me happy as he signed the picture. Then I took a picture with him later and I asked him before taking the photo if he would hold my flask and he was more then excited and held it as we took the photo.
I met Vic for the first time at Colossalcon in Sandusky, Ohio at the end of my freshman year of highschool (2011 - i am now a college graduate with a full time job, goodness I feel old!) with my best friend (back before Kalahari built on their additional convention space and colossal was confined to like, 3 hallways). He was so nice and graciously accepted the cringy duct tape tie that my friend and I had made for him the night before. I have since grown apart from said friends and haven’t been to colossalcon recently as a result. But I am so grateful that I most of my cherished memories of the con involve Vic and friends that I have made through the Rangers. Thank you Vic for being amazing and kind to so many at conventions when so many people and tasks on your “to-do” list also undoubtedly occupied your mind.
I met Vic back in 2008 at Nan Desu Kan in Denver, Colorado. It was my very first con, and I was both nervous, and excited. Meeting Vic at the Ranger panel was cool; he was respectful and had integrity. He was kind and passionate about his work. At the Ranger Dinner, he was chill. He'd walk to our tables and take a bite of chips and salsa. When he got to ours, he took a bite and went 'oof, hot spot! Need water!'
Meeting him was an honor, and being able to get genuine advice for my college plays from him was amazing. He cares about his fans.
I hope to eventually meet him again one day, even if it's just to say hello for a moment.
Hi Vic. I met you back at MegaCon Orlando Florida back in 2016. Meeting you was such an honor as you are my most favorite voice actor of all time. I am a huge fan of Fullmetal Alchemist and Fullmetal Alchemist: Brotherhood where I was first introduced to your most popular work as Edward Elric. I remember that day meeting you like it was yesterday. I remember being in shock for a few minutes afterwards and asking myself "Did I really just meet Vic Mignogna?" It was a life dream coming true. I recently started a tradition where every year starting October 3rd I watch through Fullmetal Alchemist: Brotherhood because of how much I love the anime and your amazing work that you put into the dubbing. It hurts me to see that there are people who want to ruin your reputation and end your longtime career in this industry. I am praying for you every day and stand by your side along with all your fans in this difficult time. Whenever I go through difficult times I remember "If God is for you, who can be against you?" You are such an amazing and inspiring person in this industry and I hope to see you return for future projects. Thank you for being the person you are and thank you for all the hard work you have done. Hope to meet you again. God Bless.
